Beginners Workshops

(Times of classes vary)

These classes are held at least once per month. They are aimed for people who have no knowledge of basic Pilates principles. The session lasts 90 minutes and focuses on core engagement, pelvic stability, scapula stability and postural assessment.

Max 6 per class. Cost £10

TUESDAYS

Pilates

Tuesdays 6:00pm to 6:55pm, Wylam Methodist Church (6 week course)

This focuses on correctly activating deep postural muscles and improving posture and flexibility. This will enable the body to work more efficiently with minimal effort.

Max 15 per class. Cost £7.00 per class, block booking required – or £8.00 pay as you go

Intermediate Core Conditioning and Circuit Training

Tuesdays 7:00pm to 7:55pm, Wylam Methodist Church (6 week course)

This course aims to improve mobility, core strength and flexibility and also gives a cardiovascular workout. All levels of fitness are welcome, however if you have done no core strength work before, attending a beginners course and the beginners workshop is recommended.

Max 15 per class. Cost £7.00 per class, block booking required - or £8.00 pay as you go

Mens Core Conditioning and Circuit Training

Tuesdays 8:00pm to 8:55pm, Wylam Methodist Church (6 week course)

Men’s bodies are different to women’s. They have a smaller pelvis, tighter hips and generally tighter hamstrings. This class helps to mobilize the spine, improve flexibility and core strength. The circuit training gives a cardiovascular workout.

Post Natal Exercise Class

Execise Class for Mums 9:30am to 10:25am, Wylam Methodist Church 

Are you a mum with young children who needs to get fit?
Do you want to be fit enough to play with your children as they grow? If “yes” then this class is for you!
A class designed to restore your core and muscles alongside cardio vascular fitness. Babies and toddlers welcome!

£8 per session – block booking required

Wednesdays 10:30am to 11:25am, Wylam Methodist Church 

A post-natal exercise class essential for all new mums, focusing on pelvic floor, restoring your core strength, strengthening muscles and recovering from birth. Babies welcome.
