Beginners Workshops

(Times of classes vary)

These classes are held at least once per month. They are aimed for people who have no knowledge of basic Pilates principles. The session lasts 90 minutes and focuses on core engagement, pelvic stability, scapula stability and postural assessment.

Max 6 per class. Cost £10

Mondays

Clinical Pilates

Mondays 9:30am to 10:20am, St Oswins Church, Wylam

Carefully selected exercises combining the principles of Pilates with current areas of research into muscle function and dysfunction, local and global stability and biomechanics to create a safe effective treatment and rehabilitation tool.

This class is open to men and women. It focuses on correctly activating deep postural muscles and improving posture and flexibility. This will enable the body to work more efficiently with minimal effort. This course is ideal for post-natal women people with back problems, or anyone wanting to improve core strength.

Max 12 per class. Cost £8.00 per class, block booking required

Pilates & Conditioning

Mondays 10:30am to 11:20am, St Oswins Church, Wylam

This course aims to improve mobility, core strength and flexibility. With some conditioning exercises mixed in to help you perform well in life and prevent injury. All levels of fitness are welcome.

Mondays 6:00pm to 6:50pm, St Oswins Church, Wylam

This course aims to improve mobility, core strength and flexibility and also gives a cardiovascular workout. All levels of fitness are welcome

Strength & Conditioning

Mondays 7:00pm to 7:50pm, St Oswins Church, Wylam

This course aims to improve mobility, core strength and flexibility and also gives a cardiovascular workout. All levels of fitness are welcome, however if you have done no core strength work before, attending a beginners course and the beginners workshop is recommended.

Men’s Strength & Conditioning

Mondays 8:00pm to 8:55pm, St Oswins Church, Wylam

Men’s bodies are different to women’s. They have a smaller pelvis, tighter hips and generally tighter hamstrings. This class helps to mobilize the spine, improve flexibility and core strength. The circuit training gives a cardiovascular workout.

Tuesdays

Zoom Online Pilates for Peak Performance

Tuesday 5:00pm to 6:00pm, Zoom Online

Quality core conditioning exercises and mobility exercises enabling you to move more freely in your daily life and stay injury free. Essential for everyone!

Cost £5.00 per class with block booking or £7.00 pay as you go
